To apply for a challenge event, kindly fill in this form. We will be in touch to let you know if you are successful in your application, at which point we will ask for you to pay the registration fee and setup your fundraising page. Can I enter with my group? Due to health & safety and insurance legislation, most challenge events are 18+. We are looking to expand our event offer for young people. For now why not try the brilliant (and messy!) 5k Colour Vibe, with locations in London, Windsor, Essex and Bristol. How do I pay for the registration fee? Following successful application to the challenge event, we will ask you to confirm your place by payment of the registration fee by Cheque or BACS transfer. Cheques are payable to The Scout Association. Please send these to: Challenge Events, The Scout Association, Gilwell Park, Chingford, London, E4 7QW. For BACS transfer to The Scout Association - A/C No 10009822, Sort Code 20-06-05. Please use your name and event initials as a reference, e.g. JMooreGSR (Great South Run). How do I setup my Just Giving page? Head to https://www.justgiving.com/scouts and click 'Fundraise for us'. You will then be asked to create Login details and build your page. What fees are applicable to my fundraising total? All Just Giving fees will be covered by TSA. The total 50% of the fundraising total will be donated to the local group of your course, less the Gift Aid. When will my group receive the funds? We will send a cheque 6 weeks after the event date close. I already have a place in a race, can I still fundraise? If you've already managed to secure a place for a challenge event and would like to raise funds for UK Scouting, then we'd love to hear from you at [email protected]. As a valued member of #TeamScout we’ll be able to provide you with support and advice to help you reach your fundraising goal. Plus we'll give you your own t-shirt to wear at your event.
