Every year The Scout Association helps over 450,000 young people in the UK enjoy fun, friendship and new adventures; to experience the outdoors, interact with others, gain confidence and have the opportunity to reach their full potential. Established in 1907, we’ve grown to become the biggest youth organisation in the UK with Scout Groups spread throughout the country.

Now is an exciting time for Scouting. Our youth membership has grown for the tenth consecutive year; we’re becoming more inclusive, shaped by young people and we’re making even more of an impact in our local communities. And it’s not just young people who can get in on the action. Working alongside our youth members are thousands of adult volunteers, with a huge variety of roles and opportunities available.

Scouts have been presidents, prime ministers, entrepreneurs and pop stars. They have climbed Everest, stood at the South Pole and walked on the moon. Scouts are also teachers, social workers – the people who make society work. They are all united by common values of integrity, respect, trust cooperation, integrity and their promise to help other people.

We aim to keep growing, and keep giving unique opportunities to young people.

That’s where our Partners’ help is key.

Scouting makes a massive difference to young people’s lives. You can support this work today and the rewards are immense. Helping young people is my best adventure yet.

Changing lives

By becoming a Partner of the Scout Association, you’ll ensure thousands of young people in the UK are able to realise their potential. Developing great people is what the Scouts are about, and you’ll get to be part of that. Supporting Scouting is a great way of meeting your business and corporate social responsibility objectives. Not only are we a registered charity, the work we and our members do enriches lives and communities throughout the UK.

We currently have over 20 partners of all shapes and sizes. They include leading brands in the fields of science and engineering, communications, entertainment and retail as well as other charitable organisations. Every partnership is unique, tailored and mutually beneficial. No matter what your objectives are with a potential partnership, together we’ll create something which can support Scouting and help change lives.

The Scout Association has helped us encourage children to explore STEM subjects in an engaging and practical way, and our support gets great feedback from Leaders. And it’s a different way to engage with our employees, as parents and volunteers, and involve them in a partnership that benefits us both.
