We are preparing young people for life

As Scouts, we believe in preparing young people with skills for life. We encourage our young people to do more, learn more and be more. Each week, we give over 460,000 young people the opportunity to enjoy fun and adventure while developing the skills they need to succeed, now and in the future. All legacy income we receive goes towards developing skills for life #SkillsForLife

Plan longer term projects

We are currently in the early development stages of the Museum of Scouting at Gilwell Park. This will showcase the UK as the founding Nation of World Scouting.  The Museum will be a beautiful space for Scouts from the UK, and all over the World, to gather, share stories and learn about the history and future of Scouting.

We need to invigorate this space, creating a new and exciting setting.  A hub where visitors not only make connections with each other, but are also able to discover a connection to the past.  There has never been an official Museum to celebrate the UK as the birthplace of Scouting, even though there is an important story to tell, not just with UK Scouts, but with our friends from around the world.
