Recycle with Michael is a recycling scheme run by The Salvation Army to encourage young people to donate their old or unwanted clothing and shoes. The Salvation Army is a charity that provides practical and emotional support for vulnerable and disadvantaged people.

Recycle with Michael teaches the importance of recycling textiles, extending the life of clothing and shoes that children grow out of so quickly!

The scheme is already active in over 500 schools across the UK. The partnership with The Scouts Association means that Beavers, Cubs and Scouts can now donate too. Taking part in this scheme can help you towards your Cubs Environmental Conservation Activity Badge!

How can you Recycle with Michael?

To sign your Scout Group up to Recycle with Michael simply fill in the online application form, order your donation bags free of charge, and then organise a collection date! One of our Recycle with Michael collectors will visit you to collect your donations, and then report back to let you know just how much you’ve raised for charity!
